Sarah is a domain expert for electronics within thinkstep, and has led product sustainability projects in the consumer electronics, FMCG, electrical utility, aerospace, and construction sectors.
In addition to her role as a senior consultant at thinkstep, Sarah has headed up internal data development projects and managed the centralized LCI databases for North America.
The second edition of her book “Life-cycle Assessment of Semiconductors” was released in 2013, published by Springer.
Previous to thinkstep, Sarah worked internationally for engineering leaders in the semiconductor and automotive industries, and conducted research for the Sustainability Consortium.
Sarah holds a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, where her doctoral thesis subject was LCA of Semiconductors, and a B.S. from Stanford University.
