thinkstep was represented at Hållbart näringsliv in Stockholm on November 13!
Jan Poulsen, CEO of thinkstep, held a speech about "Focusing on What Matters" at Hållbart näringsliv in Stockholm. Moreover, thinkstep offered all participants, an offset of their accommodation and transportation emissions resulting from theirparticipation in the Hållbart näringsliv.
In his talk, Jan gave a bigger picture perspective on how to approach what truly matters in sustainability, both in your personal and your organizational efforts. Before you set out to measure the sustainability of your products, services and operations, you need to think critically about what truly matters. In sustainability, that means knowing what your hotspots are, where it will make the most difference to make changes, and how the actions you take will affect the future of your business and the world at large. However, sometimes companies do not even know where to begin.
Some impressions of the event:
We offset theaccommodation and transportation emissions of all participants visiting our booth during Hållbart näringsliv. Using our SoFi Software, thinkstep calculated the emissions. The emissions will be offset through a project that recycles used bicycles in Switzerland and exports them to African countries. While enabling social integration for unemployed or disabled people in Switzerland, the project promotes low carbon mobility and business opportunities in Africa.
