thinkstep in New Zealand and Australia is proud to be amongst the first 200 companies worldwide and the first 10 in Australia/New Zealand to have a target approved by the Science Based Target initiative.
At thinkstep ANZ, efficient use of clean energy (SDG7) and responsible resource use (SDG12) add up to Climate Action (SDG 13). For us that means a commitment to do our bit to keep warming well below 2 degrees, in line with the Paris Agreement.
thinkstep ANZ is proud to be amongst the first 200 companies worldwide and the first 10 in Australia/New Zealand to have a target approved by the Science Based Target initiative. We have committed to reduce absolute Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions 38 % by 2030 from a 2018 base year and to reduce absolute Scope 3 emissions from business travel and employee commuting 38% within the same timeframe.
Thank you to Catherine Jeffcoat, Communications Manager for the Sustainable Business Council and David Tong, Climate Change Programme Manager at WWF New Zealand for sharing our excitement in a short video statement.
The emissions we cannot avoid are offset using New Zealand carbon offsets and we are Zero Carbon certified with Ekos.
